How often should I get my macular pigment measured?

After you have a baseline MPOD measurement, our eye care experts in Niagara Falls, ON will determine the frequency of measurements necessary to monitor your MPOD. The frequency of testing will depend on your baseline measurement and your age-related macular degeneration risk. It will vary from once every six months to once per year.
Eating Eyefoods that are high in lutein and zeaxanthin, and taking an eye vitamin with lutein and zeaxanthin should increase your macular pigment.
